Albertha Leona Mackey, was one of nine children born to the union of Henry and Isadora Mack in Myrtle Beach, S.C. She was raised in Myrtle Beach, and she graduated from Conway High School and later attended Rutgers University in New Jersey. She retired from the Albany City School district in 1993.
She is survived by her three daughters and two sons-in-law; four grandchildren; five sisters; a brother, Robert ; her former husband; and her sister-in-law. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
