Philip C. Mammone, 32, of 15 Granite St., died this morning at Burbank Hospital.

Born in Fitchburg July, 10, 1944, he was the son of Pasquale C. and Josephine L. (Valera) Mammone.

He was a 1962 graduate of St. Bernard's Central Catholic High School. He was a member of St. Anthony's Parish and a leader of the Cursillo Movement in the Worcester Diocese as well as a leader in the St. Anthony's Church Charismatic prayer group.

Besides his parents, he is survived by one brother, Frank J. of Leominster; three sister, Mrs. Jo-Ann, wife of Norman Valois of Fitchburg; Mrs. Diane, wife of Joseph BeLuca and Miss Nina Mammone of Fitchburg; a maternal grandmother, Mrs. Antonina Valera of Fitchburg and several nieces and nephers.

The funeral will be held from the Smith Funeral Home with a Funeral Mass Saturday in St. Anthony's Church at 11 a.m. Burial will be in St. Bernard's Cemetery.

Calling hours at the funeral home are Thursday and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
