MARYANNE L. REAGAN
GROTON - Maryanne L. Reagan, 53, of Groton City Road, Groton, NY passed away surrounded by family on Thursday morning, May 27, 2010, after an extended illness.
Born April 6, 1957 in Lockport, NY, she was the daughter of the late Leslie and Anna Kohler Fox.
She was a 1975 graduate of Homer High School and in 1976 she married Michael P. Reagan. She was employed with Cornell University working as an Administrative Assistant in the Benefit dept. She was a collector of cookbooks and enjoyed spending time camping and canoeing in the Adirondacks, but her passion was when she was spending time with her family, where she was a loving and involved mother to her children and later to her grandchildren.
Besides her devoted husband, Mike, she is survived by her daughter, Melissa (Peter) Goodsell; and son, Matthew (Monique) Reagan; grandchildren, Christiana, Anthony and Gaige Goodsell, all of Groton. Also surviving are her brothers, Mark and Kip Fox, both of Cortland, NY and Paul Fox of Buffalo; a sister, Kimberly (Robert) Smith of Georgia; several nieces and nephews. Her mother-in-law, Kitty Reagan, as well as her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, survive her.
A celebration of her life will be held at the Groton Rod and Gun Club, Saturday, May 29th, 2010, starting at noon, where friends and family are invited to join and remember with fondness Maryanne's life.
