Joseph Edelen Anderson, 85, of 1807 Princeton Drive, died Tuesday [September 30, 1980] at King's Daughters & Sons Home.
He was a native of Springfield,
a veteran of World War II,
a retired auditor at the Louisville & Nashville Railroad Co. and
a member of American Legion Shawnee Post.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary A. Anderson;
three sons, Joseph H., John P. & Robert L. Anderson; and
two sisters, Mrs. Rose Knapp of Boca Raton, FL, and Mrs. Catherine Corbett.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 1960 Bardstown Road, with burial in Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, will be after 2 p.m. Wednesday.
