Funeral director & embalmer. Though his family wanted him to be involved in the family business of owing and operating hotels, he wanted to become a mortician. His father told him to go to Florida because there were very few Jewish funeral homes. After getting licensed, he associated with Gordon Funeral Home and became a partner in 1955. He bought it in 1960 and remained in business until 1988. Not satisfied with retirement, he joined Levitt-Weinstein & Blasberg until his sudden death. He was president of the Jewish Funeral Directors of America in 2965, was Exalted Ruler of the Miami Beach Elks Lodge #1601 and an avid hunter and fisherman.
