He attended one-room schoolhouses in Southern Indiana and graduated in 1943 from English Indiana High School.
He entered the Army Air Corps in 1943 as an Aviation Cadet, was trained as a bombardier and navigator on B-24's and served until the was ended.
He was also a charter member of the Ernie Pyle American Legion Post in Bloomington, Indiana and the Masonic Order in Jonesboro, Indiana.
Burial will be in Indiana; arrangements for a memorial service in June will be announced.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations in Clint's memory be directed to the Carolina Village Endowment Fund, 600 Carolina Village Road, Hendersonville, NC 28792 or to Four Seasons Hospice, 571 South Allen Road, Flat Rock, NC 28731.
