Linda was born Feb. 8, 1948, in Lawton to Arthur and Hazel Farrington. She grew up in Lawton and graduated from Lawton High School in 1966. After graduation she attended Cameron University. She worked in the civilian personnel office at Fort Sill until her retirement in 2000. Soon after her retirement from the federal government she began working for Gordon Plumbing. When she wasn't working, she enjoyed watching NASCAR and rooting on her favorite driver, Dale Earnhardt Jr. She also enjoyed traveling.
She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Alice and Bill Bernhard Jr. of Louisville, Ky.; her nieces and nephew and their spouses: Kim Shrout, of Bainbridge, Island, Wash., Bill Bernhard III and Becky, of Louisville, Ky., and Anna and John Carson, of Bainbridge Island, Wash.; 12 great-nieces and nephews and one great-great niece.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Arthur Farrington III.
