Charles G. Grover
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday for Charles G. Grover, who died at his home Tuesday after a long illness. The service will be at the Chapel of the Chimes with burial in Rose City Cemetery.
He was born April 16, 1879, at Tracy, Minn., coming to Oregon in 1911 from Williston, N. D. He lived in Newbert [sic] for several years before coming to Portland where he worked as a painting contractor. He retired in 1951 because of ill health.
He is survived by his widow, Bessie E.; sons, Garfield C. of Portland and F. Virgil and William L. of Vancouver, Wash.; and daughters, Hazel Segelken and Frances Griffin, in California, and Lucylle Coiteux of Boring.
