Funeral services for Lorentina Hottman will be held Saturday May 12 at Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home, 1111 South Main Street, Aberdeen. Burial will be at Eureka City Cemetery, 3 pm, Saturday.

Lorentina died on Thursday, May 10, 2007 in Minnesota.

Lorentina Burrer was born Nov. 24, 1919 to Christ and Rosina (Hagel) Burrer on the family farm eight miles west of Long Lake, SD. She attended rural school until her family moved to Eureka, SD.

On May 27, 1950 she married Gustave Hottman at Ashley, N.D. They made their home in Aberdeen, SD. She was employed at Midcontinet Theaters for 30 years as a custodian. She was a member of Plymouth Congregational Church. She moved to Coon Rapids, MN in Jan. 1999 and entered the Crystal Care Nursing Home in Crystal, MN in July of 1999.

Survivors include; one daughter, Wilma (Elroy) Wagner of Coon Rapids, MN; three grandchildren: Valerie (Wayne) Gehrke, Ricky (Dusty) Wagner and Lisa (Jon) Klava; six great grandchildren: Toni Herman, Lacie Gehrke, Shyann Gehrke, Jessie Wagner, Rachael Wagner and Tyler Vogel; brother, Fred Burrer and sister Alma Wagenmann of Aberdeen, SD.
She is preceded in death by her husband, five brothers, three sisters and one great-grandson, Trevor Vogel.
