James Brian Armstrong, 44, Bloomington, formerly of Monmouth, died May 8, 2007, at home.
He was born April 5, 1963, in Monmouth, the son of James Stephen and Shirley Ann Howard Armstrong.
He married Diane Marie Nelson on Oct. 12, 1996, in Princeton.
Surviving are his wife; two sons, James and Luke Armstrong, Bloomington; his mother of Monmouth; a sister, Julie Armstrong, Galesburg; a brother, Craig (and Annie) Armstrong, Peoria; and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Dorothy and Jerry Carver, Princeton. He was preceded in death by his father.
He graduated from Western Illinois University in 1985.
He worked at State Farm Insurance Company in Bloomington the past 20 years as a database administrator.
He was a member of Evangelical Free Church in Bloomington and was active in its Praise and Worship Team.
