He leaves behind a wife Kathy McCarty of 31 years, five children' Gwen ( Larry) Morris, Jenny ( Charlie) Anderson, Kimberly Wells, Laura ( Shenell) McCarty and Josh McCarty, eleven grandchildren; Brittany Morris, Charlie ( Shannon) Anderson, Dallas ( Jordan) Anderson, Tiffany Morris, Shelby Morris, Louie Wells, Raylea Morris, Isabella Anderson, Chloe Wells, Tristian Jones, Jesse Jones, amd one great-grandson, Maverick Anderson, three brothers; Roger ( Louise) McCarty, Jerry ( Jackie) McCarty and Ricky McCarty, two sisters; Charletta Heath and Marlene Blevins. Larry enjoyed being outdoors, logging and being a mechanic, He loved spending time with family and friends, He loved to tell stories about his dog Blackberry. He was a very loving husband, father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by a son, Larry David McCarty II, a great-granddaughter, Maci Anderson and a grandson, Hunter Wells. Funeral services will be held at 11 am Tuesday October 16, 2018 at Carlisle-Clark Funeral Home with Bro. Daniel Irving officiating with burial following in Dayton Chapel Cemetery. Visitation Monday 5 – 8 pm. Pallbearers are; Charlie R. Anderson, Charlie W. Anderson, Dallas R. Anderson, Greg ( Cheesy) Myers, Shirley Tucker, Sam Gray, Jamie Mitchell and Wayne English. Honorary bearers are; Tristian Jones, Jesse Jones, Josh McCarty, Sam Jones, Larry Morris, Darrell Shepard, Chucky McDonald and Tommy (Roho) Anderson.
