Mr. Beckwith was born in 1942 in Natrona Heights, the son of the late John and Evelyn Beckwith.
He was a graduate of Tarentum High School and a veteran of the Air Force.
He was married to Patricia Beckwith. Surviving with his wife is a daughter, Amy Beckwith, of Hamilton, Va.; and a son, Gary Beckwith (Silvia), of Miami, Fla.; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and sister, Darla Kelly, of Natrona Heights; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Beckwith was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Baker; and brothers, Loy and Gary Beckwith.
A celebration of life service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on his birthday, Saturday, Oct. 20, at Kernstown United Methodist Church.
