Christine Jane Bush, 94, of Meridian, died Wednesday, October 10, 2018 in a Boise hospital of natural causes.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 18, 2018 at the Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel.  Inurnment will be in Dry Creek cemetery at a later date.

Christine was born on September 14, 1924 in Baker, Oregon to Maude and Harvey Gardener.  She graduated from high school in Baker City, Oregon and attended college for secretarial training.  Christine worked as a secretary for the State of Idaho Brand Inspectors for thirty years and after retiring worked for H & R Block.

Some of Christine’s hobbies included crossword puzzles and crocheting blankets for family and friends. She also enjoyed football (Miami Dolphins), bowling and spending time with her grandchildren.

Christine was a member of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include her son, Alva Bush and Leslie Harris, Meridian, Ron Bush and Nancy Bush, McCall;  her granddaughter, Sarah Bush and her ]two] great-grandkids, and her grandson, Stephen Wagner of Richmond, Texas and [a] granddaughter of Boise.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey Gardner and Maude Thornburg, a sister, Dorothy Clyburn and a son, Terry Bush.
