Cecil H. Abbott, aged 56, died Thursday night at 11 o'clock at his home, 1118 East Ocean View avenue, after a long illness. He was the husband of Mrs. Margaret Abbott and son of Blizfard and Margaret Abbott, of London, England. He had been a resident of Norfolk five years. Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Robert Abbott; two daughters, Mrs. G. C. Wakefield and Miss Lelisa Abbott; one brother, B. N. Abbott, of Richmond; one sister, Miss Agnes Abbott of Surry, England; five nephews and one niece.
Funeral services will take place this afternoon at 3 o'clock from the chapel of the Paul B. Warren & Son Funeral Home, 1101 Colonial avenue. The Rev. Charles Field, 3d, will officiate. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
