Marlene Roberts, 79, of McHenry, passed away on October 14, 2018.
Born March 20, 1939 in Chicago, IL, daughter of Clarence and Margaret (Morton) Ehrhardt. Marlene was an employee of the Hostess Bread Store "Twinkie Lady" in McHenry for many years. She was a member of the Sweet Adelines and the Zion Lutheran Church of McHenry.
Survivors include her two children, GayAnn M. Roberts and Gregory (Denise) Roberts; six grandchildren, Julie (Amanda), Tiffany, Stephanie, Amanda, Peter and Isaiah Roberts; two great grandchildren, Abbi and Gage; a sister, Susan (Thomas) Fairbanks; along with many family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Gordon in 1995; a daughter, Sheryl Bankel; a brother, Ken Ehrhardt; and a sister, Nancy Wasik.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 19, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church, 4206 W. Elm St., McHenry IL 60050 With Pastor Mark Buetow officiating. Burial will be Private. Visitation will be on Thursday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Justen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3700 Charles Miller Memorial Hwy, McHenry IL 60050 and on Friday at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of services.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to JourneyCare Hospice of Barrington, IL.
