"Papa" was a wonderful grandfather and a terrific friend. He would go out of his way to help anyone. He was a Mason, Shriner, and retired from the Anniston Army Depot where he worked for most of his life. He was a WWII veteran where he was stationed in Japan. I love and miss you greatly, wish you were still here.

Survivors include his daughter Toni Marie Smith (died June 1998) and his grand-daughter Melody Cook and her husband Billy. He now also has a great grandson named Chandler after him.
