Miss Helen Marton, 27, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Marton, 4 Youngstown street, died Friday at 11:15 a. m. in the hospital at Barnesboro, Pa., of typhoid fever, following an illness of two weeks. She was born in Canonsburg, May 27, 1909, and lived here until a few years ago when she went to Barnesboro to make her home with a sister. She had a host of friends here and was a graduate of the Canonsburg high school. She is survived by her parents, one sister, wife of the Rev. Kenneth Wilkerson of Barnesboro, with whom she was making her home; and three brothers, Albert, of Cleveland, O., and Frank and Milan of Canonsburg.
Funeral services will be held at the home of the parents in Youngstown street, Monday at 2 p. m. They will be in charge of the Rev. F. S. Eberle, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran church, and burial will be in Oak Spring cemetery. The body is expected to arrive in Canonsburg late this evening.
