Imogene “Jean” Perry, 66, of Sedalia, MO, passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Rest Haven Convalescent Home in Sedalia. She was born on August 12, 1952 in Bentonville, AR, the daughter of Charles and Alpha (Johnson) Acuff, who preceded her in death.

On August 6, 1976 in Huntsville, AR, she was united in marriage to Kenneth Wayne Perry, who resides of the home.

Jean was a member of Parkway Freewill Baptist Church. She worked as a cook for Eddie’s Drive Inn and was a homemaker. She enjoyed going to garage sales, listening to classic country music, cooking fried chicken, playing video and card games. She especially loved being outdoors fishing with her family and participating in all kinds of activities.

In addition to her husband Kenneth, she is survived by four children, Nathan Perry of Sedalia, Rebecca Adair (John) of Cole Camp, Rhonda Perry (Daniel Ware Sr.) of Windsor, and Jason Perry of Sedalia; 21 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; three sisters, Carol Case (Cecil) of Springdale, AR; Sherie Purdue (Ben) of Lincoln, AR, and Wanda Acuff of Springdale, AR; two brothers, Frank Acuff (Aline) of Springdale, AR, and Bill Acuff (Margaret) of Siloam Spring, AR.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby Acuff and Ronnie Acuff; and sister, Brenda Acuff.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Rea Funeral Chapel with Rev. Dan Talbott officiating.

The family will receive friends on hour prior to the service at the chapel.

Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery, Sedalia.

Pallbearers will be Dan Ware Sr., Daniel Ware Jr., John Adair, Ulysses Perry, Jason Perry, and Nathan Perry.

Honorary bearers will be Cody Dorr, Zack Norton, and Isaiah Rockett.
