Predeceased by her husband Garnet. She was a daughter of the late David and Jennie (Nowlin) Long.
She is survived by her children, Zane (Gladys) Long, Black River; Kathleen Long, Dartmouth; Audrey (Peter) Milne, New Minas; Zelda (Peter) Stevenson, Aylesford; Keith (Karen) McPhail, Melanson; ten grandchildren, Leisa, Melanie, Mark, Lori, Jordan, Tanya, Josh, Jessica, Lyndsay and Dawson; 10 great grandchildren; one great great grandson; and her brother, David, Greenwich.
She was also predeceased by her sisters, Ruth Babcock, Grace Allen, Arlene (in infancy) and a brother, James.
Cremation took place and there was no visitation by request. A private memorial service was held in the Black River Community Hall, followed by burial in the Black River Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
