Elnar Stuart Barnhill "Auntie Sis" Barnhill, age 87 of Nashville, TN. It is with great regret the family of Elnar S. Carter Barnhill announces her passing, March 19, 2019 into God's arms. Elnar was born October 17, 1931 at the family's farm in Williamson County, TN. Mrs. Barnhill and her husband were owners of One Hour Optical in Birmingham, AL from 1962-1990's.
Mrs. Barnhill was preceded in death by her husband James W. Barnhill; parents, Jesse Marion and Susie Chester Carter; sister, Millie (George) Kesely; brothers, William Donald (Jo) Carter and James Bryant Carter.
Survived by brother, Hubert (Joann) Carter; niece, Donna (Greg) Habel; nephews, George (Rosemary) Kesely, Jeff Carter, Bradley (Michelle) Carter, Jesse (Jessica) Carter and numerous great and great-great nieces & nephews and her Godson, Shawn Tampauskas.
Funeral service will be held 12 Noon Friday, March 22, 2019 with visitation one hour prior to the service at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.
