Jamie Lynn Dodd, 46, of Spartanburg, SC, died suddenly at her home on Saturday, April 21, 2007.

Born March 18, 1961, in Spartanburg, daughter of James Olin Dodd and his wife Judy of Boiling Springs and the late Ann (Smith) Dodd Francis (1936-2005).

A graduate of Spartanburg Day School, she served two years in the U. S. Air Force, attended Fernwood Baptist Church, and was a homemaker.

Other survivors include a daughter, Anna Marie Dodd; son, Clinton William Turner; sisters, Ann Burton and Kathy Dodd Smith (Fred); brother, James Olin Dodd, Jr.; nephew, Harry Dean Mahaffey, III; and her long-time companion, Richard Turner.

Graveside services were held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, April 25, 2007, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens conducted by the Rev. Dr. Wayne Hyatt.

The family received friends following the service at the graveside.

Memorials could be made to the Youth Ministry of Fernwood Baptist Church, Spartanburg, SC.
