Laura Emma Appling daughter of Marshall and Amanda Rains Jones, was born April 19, 1885 and died August 27 at the Bland Nursing Home in Lebanon at the age of 90.
On December 17, 1913 Laura Jones married Otto Leslie Appling. They had seven children. Four of her children and her husband preceded her in death; Hazel in 1914; another infant son in 1916; Awilda and Wilburn in 1918; and Otto Applling in 1971.
She is survived by daughter and two sons of Lebanon. Three brothers, six granchildren and eight great grandchildren.
She is buried in the Lebanon City Cemetery.
