Edward Campbell, Sr. (1746-1825) lived in Williamson County,Tennessee, having moved there "...prior to 1808. They settled on lands located on Garrison Creek, a tributary of Leipers Fork of the West Harpeth River, about two miles south and west of the present day community of Leipers Fork (then called Hillsborough).--P. 1. "Edward Campbell, Sr. died on Augujst 16, 1825 at the age of 79...he is buried in a small cemetery located on the Harold C. Mecham farm."--P. 5. "After the death of Edward Sr., the family moved to Henry County in West Tennessee."--P.10., and some family members later removed to Pope County, Arkansas. His descendants and relatives lived in Tennessee, North Carolina, Kansas, Arkansas, Mississippi and elsewhere.
