Otis C. Spetter, 78, of 231 Storey, died Sunday in a Kansas City hospital.

He was born February 18, 1880 in Germany, and had lived in Topeka 38 years.

He was a member of the Holy Name Church and a retired farmer.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Spetter, Topeka; for sons, Leo F. and Charles E. Spetter, both of Butte, Mont.; Eugene F. Spetter, Route 8; and Samuel C. Spetter, Topeka; three daughters, Sister Gertrude, Elko, Nev.; Sister Matilda, Cheyenne, Wyo., Mrs. Viola Price, Topeka; a sister, Mrs. Leo Masching, Tulsa, Okla., 27 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 8 a.m. Tuesday at the Holy Name Church with burial in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Parish Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. today at the Brennan Funeral Home.
