Mrs. Margaret Sather, 48, of 2209 Adams St., Two Rivers, died early Friday morning at Memorial Hospital at Manitowoc following a lingering illness. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, Two Rivers, the Rev. Carl Ipsen officiating. Burial will be in Forest View Cemetery, Two Rivers.
Mrs. Sather, nee Margaret Von De Linde, was born at Echo, Minnesota, June 17, 1910, a daughter of the late Jacob and Ella Reuther Van De Linde. She attended Echo schools and in 1948 was married to Sylvester Sather at Minneapolis, Minnesota. Before coming to Two Rivers in 1957 the couple lived at Minneapolis and Lima, Ohio.
Besides her husband she leaves two daughters, Mrs. Delores Schrimpf of Lima, Ohio, and Mrs. Nancy Sabin of Minneapolis; three sons, Donald Orr of Chicago, Lawrence Orr of San Diego, California, and Roger Sather of Romulus, Michigan; four sisters, Mrs. Irene Adler and Mrs. George Waters of Neenah, Mrs. Anna Marty and Mrs. James Powell of Phoenix, Arizona; seven brothers, Harry, Albert, and John of Echo, Minnesota, Raymond of Batavia, Illinois, Wilbert of Stillwater, Minnesota, Jacob of St. Paul, Minnesota, and Oscar of Minneapolis, and 12 grandchildren.
