Preceded in death by his parents, May and Louis E. Albritton, Sr.; his sister, Rosemary Johnston and his step-son, E. Riley Anderson, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Donna Gardner Albritton; his children, L. Marshall Albritton (Laurie), Denise L. Carlson (Scott) and John Burton Albritton (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Grace and Kelsey Albritton and Jessica, Hailey, Kelby and Tanner Carlson; a brother, John A. Albritton (Lynn) of Granbury, TX and an aunt, Kay Rose of Cupertino, CA.

Lou was a graduate of Emory at Oxford and The High Museum of Art in Atlanta. He served his country during WWII as a member of the U.S. Marine Corp. Mr. Albritton spent many years in the display business with Rich's, Miller's and Genesco and was the 1971 recipient of The Annual Display Award for outstanding achievements by the National Association of Display Industries, and was widely known as an accomplished artist.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 7, 2009 at the Grace Community Church of Nashville, with Rev. Bob Mowrey officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service. Private family Interment at Westminster Presbyterian Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Community Church of Nashville, Westminster Presbyterian Church or Alive Hospice.
