Broderick, Thomas John age 81; WWII Vet, 82nd Airborne passed away after a wonderful and courageous life. Beloved husband of 54 years to Eileen (nee Davis). Loving father of Daniel (Nancy), Lucy, Scott (Kathleen), Catherine (Steve) Duffy, Rita (Kevin) Durkin, Thomas J., Jr. (Debbie) and the late Molly (Wayne) Barnett. Papa to 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Patricia (Jack) Desmond and Jacqueline Davis. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Life long best friend to hundreds and a Happy Sox Fan. Funeral Tuesday, 9:15 a.m., from Donnellan Funeral Home, 10525 S. Western Ave., to St. Barnabas Church, Mass 10:00 a.m. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation Monday 3 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to McDermott Foundation, 932 W. Washington, Chicago, IL. 60607. (773) 238-0075.
