OBITUARY-newspaper Feb 25 1915-Times Tribune
Word was received here Tuesday that R.S. Gilchrist, who moved from Stamford to Green Forest, Ark, a few weeks ago, had died at that place. The cause of his death was heart-trouble. Mr Gilchrist had been in poor health for some time before he left Stamford and it was hoped that the change of climate would benefit him.
Mr Gilchrist was for many years a highly respected resident of this community and had many friends here.
His son Charles and two daughters, Mrs Bert Goosic and Mrs A. B. Criddlebaugh, all of this neighborhood, have gone to attend the funeral.

The body of R.S. Gilchrist, who died several months ago at this home in Green Forest, Ark., was brought to Stamford and re-interred in the cemetery here monday. Mr Gilchrist and family lived in this neighborhood for many years.
