Janet S. (Minnick) Barker, 74, of Alabama, formerly of Spencer, passed away on October 27, 2018 in Alabama. Janet was born at her residence in Spencer, on June 10, 1944 to Kenneth and Elizabeth (Coble) Minnick.

Janet loved her family dearly and will be missed by all who knew her.

Janet is survived by her husband, Robert A. Barker, sons, Scott A. and wife Lisa Barker of Alabama, Chris A. Barker of Spencer, Jeff C. Barker of North Carolina, sister, Doris Rubeck of Spencer, brothers, Gary Minnick of Arizona, Jim and wife Betty Minnick of Arizona, eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Jean Brown, Barbara Taylor, brothers, Marvin Minnick, David Minnick, Wayne Minnick, Kenny Minnick, Max Minnick, Joe Minnick, and daughter-in-law, Jennifer Barker.

Funeral services will be 12:00 PM, Friday, November 2, 2018 at the Family of God Church, 2018 State Road 67N, Spencer, with Pastor Ben Lopossa officiating. Burial will follow at Hudson Hill Cemetery in Spencer.
