Paul Wayne Callahan, 68, of Rocky Face passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2018. He was a member of Community Baptist Church on Lee Mason Road in LaFayette where he was a deacon of the church for many years. Wayne was an avid fisherman an all-around outdoorsman. He loved gardening and his family.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Sheila Callahan; daughter, Kristi (Brandon) Whisenant of Adairsville; sons, Jonathan (LaShanda) Callahan of Resaca and Eddie Underwood of Dalton; four grandchildren, Logan and Lance Callahan and Abagail and Lilyann Whisenant; sister, Sue Harrison of Dalton; brothers, Ronald Callahan of Dalton, Dwight Callahan of Sugar Valley, David Callahan and Richard Callahan both of Dalton; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, November 3, at Community Baptist Church on Lee Mason Road with Rev. W.C. Pence and Rev. Melvin Frazier officiating.

Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from noon until hour of service.

Interment will be private in the church cemetery.
