Frank David Baker, of Edna, passed away, on October 30, 2018, at the age of 90. He was born in Hochheim, Texas, on September 8, 1928 to the late Frank Moore Baker and Lesner Gillum Baker.
Frank served in the U.S. Army and worked at Jackson County Electric Coop for several years. He was a dear uncle and great friend to many that will be truly missed.
Frank is survived by his: stepchildren, Linda Kazmir, Gloria Karl, Bobby Parrett, William Parrett, W.C. Parrett, and Floyd L. Parrett; dear friend; Kody Salles (goose hunting buddy); along with numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his, parents Frank is preceded in death by his three, sisters, Geneva Moore, Lavern Baker, and Neval Lindsey; three, brothers, Elmer Baker Sr., Carlton Barker, and Jerry L. Baker; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2018, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., with the Funeral Service to begin at 11:00 a.m., in the Oaklawn Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the City Cemetery of Hallettsville. Pastor Mike Williams will be officiating.
Memorials may be made to Bluebonnet Youth Ranch (Building Fund), 4652 U.S. Hwy 77A South, Yoakum, Texas 77995.
