LANE GARRISON AUSTIN, son of Craig Lee and Teresa Ann Vincent Austin, was born September 13, 1991, in Springfield, Missouri, and departed this life November 2, 2018, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of twenty-seven years.
Lane attended school in Lebanon, where he made friends easily and cherished the friendship with his classmates. While attending school Lane enjoyed playing Little League Baseball and Mighty Might Football and was a good at both.
He enjoyed deer hunting, playing his guitar, collecting hot wheels, getting tattoos, rock and roll music and cooking. Chicken and noodles were his specialty. He was a good artist and enjoyed coloring with his nieces. He loved being an uncle and was called “Uncle Laner” by his very special nieces. Lane was passionate about anything he did and was always willing to help someone in need. He was a caring and loving person and treasured the time spent with his family, especially his grandparents, who he talked about often. Christmas was always a special time of year for him to be with his family.
Most recently Lane was employed with Spring Valley Meat Processing Plant as a butcher.
