Raymond Lee (Ray) Yoder 72 of rural Marion County, Missouri near Monroe City passed away Friday, November 02,2018 at his home. He was born November 27,1946 in Freeport, Illinois the son of Eff L. and Elizabeth Hunt Yoder.
Ray attended Freeport, Illinois High School. He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He worked for Kulhman Diecasting and then Pace Industries both of Monroe City as a machine operator for many years. Ray enjoyed tinkering with all kinds of small engines and old cars. He enjoyed working in the yard. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him.
He married Shirley L. Giest June 30,1970, she survives of the home.
Also surviving are two sons Micky Yoder (Cathy) of Monroe City, Missouri and Jason Yoder (Christy) of Springfield, MO.
One daughter Jeana Sinclair (Gerald) of Stoutsville, Missouri.
One brother Kenneth Yoder of Freeport, Illinois.
Also survived by six grandchildren Ryan Yoder, Jacob Yoder, Megan Yoder, Bailee Yoder, Nicole Sinclair and Emily Sinclair.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside funeral services will be held 10:00 am Tuesday, November 06,2018 at the St. Jude Cemetery, Monroe City, Missouri, Rev. Steve Goughnour will officiate, Military Rites will follow at the cemetery. Pallbearers will be Micky Yoder, Jason Yoder, Gerald Sinclair, Ryan Yoder and Jacob Yoder.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Garner Funeral Home & Chapel, Monroe City, Missouri.
