He was born July 2, 1955 in Aledo, IL the son of Clarence and Elizabeth Hanna Allgeyer. He married Jean Higbee in Cameron, IL on March 15, 1975.
He is survived by his parents, Clarence "Jiggs" and Elizabeth "Betty" Allgeyer of Alexis, one son, Brian "B.J." (wife Jennifer) Allgeyer of Galesburg, IL, one daughter, Farrah (husband Tony) Gagliano of Roscoe, IL, two sisters, Lyndi Allgeyer of Galesburg and Stephanie (and Rob) Elliott of Cameron, and one granddaughter.
He worked for Butler Manufacturing Company in Galesburg for 29 ½ years. He was currently working for Fisher Grocery in Alexis. He attended Alexis schools. He was a member of the AMGBA Club. He was a member of the St. Theresa Catholic Church in Alexis. He enjoyed motorcycles.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10 AM Saturday August 19, 2006 in St. Theresa Catholic Church. The Rev. Michael Monclova will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 PM Friday at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel. Burial will be in Alexis Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the family.
