Robert R. Pahl Sr., age 80 of rural New Holstein, died peacefully Saturday evening, October 6, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Appleton.
Bob was born in the town of LeRoy to the late Wilmer and Sylvia (Themier) Pahl on May 8, 1938. He attended Mayville High School. On April 2, 1961 he married Rosetta Klatt. Together they farmed in rural New Holstein. Bob also worked for many years at Techumseh and was a truck driver for various companies.
He spent many days at his land up north, he loved hunting especially for moose and elk. Bob also had a passion for fixing tractors and tinkering around the yard.
Bob is survived by his wife: Rosetta, their children James (Jilean) Pahl and Bobby (Kelly) Pahl Jr.; Sharon (Wayne) Sohn and David (Cynthia) Leibl; 7 grandchildren: Valerie (Chad) Sobiech, Amanda (Jr.)Mier, Mathew Pahl, Mckayla Pahl, Elizabeth Pahl and Sheila Sohn; 5 great grandchildren: Austin (Samantha), Brianna, Katie, Alan and Trevor and two great-great grandchildren: Aurora and Silas. He is further survived by two brothers: William (Mary) Pahl, Bruce (Carol) Pahl; one sister: Sandy Pahl; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Cindy (Jack) Duel, Diana Klatt and Ken (Rose) Klatt; nieces, newphews other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by two infant children, one brother, and one sister.
Funeral Services for Robert will be held on Friday, October 12, 2018 at Meiselwitz-Vollstedt Funeral Home, (815 6th Street, Kiel) with burial to follow at Kiel City Cemetery.
The Meiselwitz-Vollstedt Funeral Home, Kiel is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
