Kenneth L Bell, 91, New Paris, passed away Oct 19, 2013, at Bedford Colonial Courtyard. Born May 10, 1922 in Lewiston, Idaho, and grew up in Toledo, Oregon. Son of William and Goldie Snider Fairburn Bell. Preceded in death by parents, brother; Arthur Bell, and sisters; Sybil Prescott and Cleone.
Survived by wife of 68 years, Doris Virginia (Seese) Bell, having been married on Dec. 26, 1944. Also children; Stephen, Jana, Daniel, and Kara Lee, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. U. S. Navy veteran of World War II, having served as a radioman. Graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a mechanical engineering degree. Retired employee of Union Carbide Corp; having traveled the world with his job.
At the request of the family, there will not be any viewing or visitation, however, family and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at 2p.m. Thursday at St Mark's Episcopal Church, 335 Locust St., Johnstown, Pa 15901. Arrangements by William Kisiel Funeral Home, Windber.
