Manitowoc - Mary Etta Mahnke, age 75, of 1510 South 30th Street, Manitowoc, died Wednesday afternoon, October 24, 2018, at Rivers Bend Health & Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc.
Mary was born January 30, 1943, daughter of the late Wenceslaus (Wenzil) George Wondrash and Angeline C. (Rohr) Wondrash in Kewaunee, Wisconsin. On August 16, 1975, she married Lloyd James Mahnke who preceded her in death April 3, 2016.
She was considered as a very honest person by all her friends. She lived her life being of service to family and friends. She was a loving daughter and devoted to her husband. She asked for very little but gave a lot and will be missed by all.
Survivors include her son, Kevin Lee Mahnke; her sister and brother-in-law, Jean I. (Wondrash) Baker and Bruce E. Baker; her nephews, Chad M. DeBauch and Michael Lyons; her nieces, Judy Nething, Nancy Sansom, and Debra Williams. She was preceded in death by a son, Joseph James Mahnke and a sister, Roberta (Wondrash) Lyons.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 9, 2018 at The Pfeffer Funeral Home, 928 S. 14th Street, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Service will be Deacon Alan Boeldt with burial at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
The family will greet relatives and friends at The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 9:30 a.m. Friday, November 9, 2018 until 10:45 a.m.

The family would like to thank the staff at Field Crest Manor for the care and compassion they gave Mary while she lived there and also thank Rivers Bend Health & Rehabilitation Center and Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for the special care they gave during her final days.
