Glenn Benjamin Walker, 96, of Fayetteville, Arkansas died Monday, November 5, 2018 in Springdale. He was a Farmer and a WWII Army Veteran. He was born March 5, 1922 in Ozark, Arkansas to Elmer and Ruth West Walker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy Alston Walker, and two sons, Gary Wayne and Michael Lane Walker.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Martin Walker of Fayetteville, Arkansas; three sons, Glenn David Walker and wife Grace of Washington, Christopher Edwin Walker and wife Julie of Oklahoma; and Donnie Lynn Walker and wife Marla of Fayetteville; two step-daughters, Stacy Leigh Bowen of Oklahoma and Sherri Lynn Wyatt and husband Lee of Alabama; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
Graveside service will be held at 12:00 Noon Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Highland Cemetery in Ozark with Jason North officiating under direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark.
Viewing and open visitation will be held from 10:00 AM Friday, November 9th and Saturday prior to graveside service at Shaffer Funeral Home, 2315 West Commercial St. Ozark.
