Services will be held at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Grandview, MO on Saturday November 10, 2018. Visitation 10am-Noon, Funeral service at Noon. Burial at Rosehill Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Marshalltown, IA on Monday November 12 at 1pm.
Jerry was born September 5, 1960, in Marshalltown, IA, to Marion and Sharon (Ness) Arment. He participated in Little League while growing up. Jerry graduated from Marshalltown High School in 1979. He married Laura Howell in 1979 and later divorced in 2009. Jerry moved to Grandview MO in Feb. 1987. He worked at McKeever Price Chopper as a supervisor in the Health and Beauty Department. He participated every year in the Kansas City Renaissance Festival and enjoyed traveling around the city to sing karaoke and play darts with friends.
Jerry was an avid fan of the Minnesota Vikings and Twins ball teams and he also followed the Royals, Chiefs and NASCAR. He was a member of the Grandview-Hickman Mills Elks Lodge 2088, Fraternal Order of Eagles in Belton, MO and a proud member of Alcoholics Anonymous with 3 years of sobriety.
Jerry was preceded in death by his mother Sharon Arment and granddaughters Claire and Lucille Campbell.
Survived by his father, Marion Arment; daughter, Sheila Campbell (Greg); son, Brandon Arment; sisters, Vicki Bolen (Rock), Diana Cardin (Lloyd); brothers Jeff Arment (Jeanice), Rod Arment (Teresa), Brad Arment (Chris) and 3 grandchildren Morgan, Jimmy and Jack.
