Theodore Allabaugh, 70, of Coal Street in Plymouth, died Monday at the family home.


Born Aug. 2, 1929, in Plymouth, he was a son of the late Theodore and Dorothy (Sipple) Allabaugh.


He attended Johnson Green School in Plymouth Township and was a lifelong Plymouth resident.


Before his retirement, he was employed by Plymouth Electric as an electrician for many years. He was previously employed by the Glen Alden Coal Co. as a miner.


He was a member of the Franklin Street Primitive Methodist Church in Plymouth.


He was preceded in death by his sister, Anna Carpenter.


Surviving are his wife, the former Margaret Belcher, with whom he would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Jan. 7; children, Diane, at home; Theodore, Wilkes-Barre; and Gary, Nanticoke; two grandsons; brother, Loring, Hanover Green, Hanover Township; sisters, Dorothy Shumack, Plymouth; and Ruth Oliver, Raleigh, N.C.; nieces and nephews.


Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday from the S. J. Grontkowski Funeral Home, 530 W. Main St., Plymouth, with the Rev. Ron Gottstein, of the Franklin Street Primitive Methodist Church, officiating.


Interment will be in the Huntsville Cemetery.


Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today.


Memorial donations may be made to the Franklin Street Primitive Methodist Church.
