Phyllis was a homemaker and had worked for several years as a seasonal employee at Pioneer Hi-Bred. She graduated from Tipton High School in 1946. Phyllis loved animals and rescued many stray cats and dogs over the years. She was a life member of the Tipton County Humane Society.
Survivors include her two daughters, Susan Wall and husband Brent, Martinsville and Sarah Manlove and husband Don, Tipton. One brother, James Albright, preceded her in death.
Funeral services for Phyllis will be at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 13 at Young-Nichols Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be Marion National Cemetery later.
