LEONARD WILLIAM WATSON JR., 20, of BRICK, passed away Friday, May 18. Lenny was a 2004 graduate of Point Pleasant High School and attended Brookdale and Ocean County Colleges.

He planned to continue his education in forensic pathology. He enjoyed music, bike riding and driving his car. He loved and emphasized the importance of family and friends. His smile could light up a room. He was a man of his word, loyal, sincere and a gentleman with a good heart. We are honored and blessed to have had him in our lives. He will greatly be missed by all and will forever be on our hearts.

He was predeceased his by grandparents and great-grandparents. He is survived by his mother, Lydia Watson; father Leonard Watson Sr.; sister, Theresa Orefice and family; grandmother, Florence Watson Schere and her husband Jim; godfather Mathew Sheridan and family, many aunts, uncles, cousins, a nephew and close friends.

Viewing hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Colonial Funeral Home, 2170 Route 88, Brick. A Funeral Mass will be offered at 10 a.m. Thursday at Epiphany Roman Catholic Church, Brick, with interment at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Middletown immediately following.
