Penney was born on November 23, 1952 in Raceland, LA, only daughter to Mabel M. Penney. She was a graduate of Holy Savior Central High School. On September 6, 1980, she married Lee I. Nudelman in his hometown of Skokie, Illinois.
Penney was a free spirit; an outgoing, loving and giving person, felt by all who knew her. She loved cooking and baking, gardening and planting, and was an avid music fan. She was incredibly passionate about animal welfare and was an advocate for multiple organizations.
Survivors include her husband: Lee Nudelman, Two Rivers; their children: Dana (Jason) Loop, Skokie, IL, Todd Nudelman, Maddy Nudelman, both of Chicago, IL; one grandson, whom she loved dearly, Keaton Jack Loop; her beloved dog: Bebe Lola; her half-sister: Cindy (John) Bourgeois, LA; and two sisters-in-law: Caryn (Jeff) Green, Glenview, IL, Mindy (Michael) Gurwin, Wilmette, IL; her cousins: Marcia and Ed Kraemer of Paradis, LA; dear neighbors: Barb and Al Lichterman; and dear friend: Julia Marten, all from Two Rivers. Penney is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins, and incredibly dear and special friends.
Cremation has taken place at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc, and services for Penney will be held on Saturday, November 10th at Friendship Conservatory Park in Des Plaines, IL.
