Born on Feb. 15, 1997, Detwain, who loved the Lord and accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, spent ten years spreading love and joy to all who knew him. He attended Vogel Elementary School and enjoyed playing football and creative drawing. He was also active in various after-school activities.
He was a member of The Lord's House C.O.G.I.C.
He is survived by his loving parent, Latasha Barnett; sisters, Aiesha, Milisa, Edwina, Labria and Kimaria, all of Evansville; brothers, Donovan and Demetre', both of Owensboro, Ky.; his maternal grandparents, Linda Diane Mosley and John Monroe Barnett; and his paternal grandparent is Betty Ann Outlaw. He has an Aunt Marilyn (Stephen) Dillard and his uncle is Savoria (Leanne) Mosley. Detwain's extended family is vast with nine great-uncles, five great-aunts and more than ninety cousins.
Funeral services 11 a.m. Friday at The Lord's House C.O.G.I.C., 919 Meyer St. just left off of First Ave., in Evansville. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation is 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Osborne Funeral Home.
