Daughter of John H. & Sarah (Phipps) Sumpter

Married William Franklin Roberts August 24, 1856 in Randolph County, MO. William was born about 1834 in South Carolina. He disappears after the 1860 census, and may have died in the Civil War or as a result of it.

Telitha's death date is unknown at this time, but was after the 1880 census.The 1876 plat map shows T L Roberts owning 40 acres very near this cemetery.. Tax records show her son, Benjamin, owning the same land in 1882.
