Charles L. Beduhn, age 76, formerly of Manitowoc, died Thursday, December 28, 2000, at River’s Bend Health and Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 28, 2001, at Calvary Lutheran Church, Two Rivers. Officiating will be Rev. Randy Van Ert. Final resting place will be Knollwood Memorial Gardens, town of Kossuth.

Charles was born January 28, 1924, in Two Rivers, son of the late Walter and Margaret Sibenhorn Beduhn. He was educated in Two Rivers and graduated with the class of 1941 from Washington High School. He continued his education at the University of Wisconsin Madison. Charles served in the United States Navy in the Pacific. He married Eloise Arndt on March 20, 1948, in Manitowoc. Charles began his career at Hamilton Industries and served as a corporate officer in various wood manufacturing operations across the country until his retirement in 1990.

Survivors include his wife, Eloise Beduhn, Manitowoc; one son, David C. Beduhn, Irving, Texas; one daughter, Candice M. Beduhn, Irving, Texas; one grandson, Jason Beduhn, Charlotte, N.C.; one brother-in-law and three sisters-in-law, Paul and Ruth Arndt, Manitowoc, Clarissa Beduhn, Mesa, Ariz., Florence Beduhn, Manitowoc. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Daniel and Bert.

The Jens Family Funeral Home and Crematory, Manitowoc is assisting the Beduhn family with arrangements.
