AIKEN ~ Robert Nesbit Aiken, 94, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Charles H. Edge of 1417 Cleburne at 1:30 a. m. Monday. Mr. Aiken who was born on the family plantation near Covington, Ga., had lived in Houston about 31 years. A retired school teacher, he had taught in the schools of Atlanta, Georgia about 40 years. He was a member of Second Presbyterian church and was an honorary member of the United Confederate Veterans, Dick Dowling Camp No. 197. Surviving besides his daughter, are two grandsons, Charles H. Edge Jr. and Hudson R. Edge, both of Pasadena and two great-granddaughters, Charline Frances Edge and Carolyn Ann Edge. Burial will be in Hollywood Cemetery.
