Eunice Marie Collins Smith age 66 passed away November 11, 2018 at Decatur County General Hospital.

She was born January 7, 1952 in Austin, TX the daughter of the late Melvin D. and Hazel Marie Beard Collins. She grew up and attended schools in Conroe, TX. She married Tommy Ray Smith, Sr. on June 21, 1969.
She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved to cook and work in the garden and enjoyed traveling. She earned an Associate of Arts degree in Travel and Tourism from Southeast College of Technology in Memphis.

She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Henderson. She enjoyed sharing her faith with others in her ministry.

Mrs. Smith is survived by two sons, Tommy Ray Smith. Jr. (Cindy) of Henderson and Christopher Michael Smith (Stephanie) of Henderson and four daughters, Lisa Marie Rimmer (Darrell) of Scotts Hill, Angela Lena Michael (Kenneth) of Henderson, Sarah Nichole Smith of Jacks Creek and Amanda Michelle Hopper (Jerry) of Pinson; eleven grandchildren; a brother, Michael Collins of TX and a sister, Shirley Malone of Conroe, TX .

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Tommy Ray Smith Sr. on March 12, 2003, a sister, Margie Riner and a brother, Melvin D. Collins, Jr.

Memorial services will be 5:30 PM Thursday at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Henderson with Jonathan Barz and Stuart MacDiarmid officiating with a later burial in Smith Family Cemetery in Henderson.
