Ken H. Bonfigt, age 53, of 4308 Fleetwood Dr., Manitowoc, died Sunday morning, July 2, 2000 at Froedtert Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11 am Wednesday, July 5, 2000 at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Mathew Simonar with burial to follow at Knollwood Memorial Garden, Town of Kossuth.

He was born July 25, 1946 in Mishicot, son of Eleanor Hrdina Bonfigt, and the late Clarence Bonfigt. Ken was a graduate of Washington High School, class of 1964 and also graduated from Lakeshore Technical College. He was a veteran of the united States Army serving from January 27, 1955 to January 26, 1968. He received the National defense Service Metal, Vietnam Service Metal with Bronze Star and the Vietnam Campaign Metal. On November 10, 1972 he married the former Marilyn Kohlbeck, in Manitowoc. Ken was employed with Manitowoc Custom Molding. He was an avid golfer and loved fishing.

Survivors include his wife, Marilyn, Manitowoc; one son, Jason, Manitowoc; his mother, Eleanor Bonfigt, Two Rivers; one brother, Dale Bonfigt, Appleton; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Nancy and Ben Valenta, Mishicot, Janice and Ron Gollata, Manitowoc; his mother-in-law, Marcella Kohlbeck; a brother-in-law, Al Kohlbeck and his wife, Janice, Manitowoc and a sister-in-law, Sandy Gauthier and her husband, John, Manitowoc. Nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends survive. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Ben Kohlbeck.

The family will greet relatives and friends at Holy Innocents Catholic Church from 9:30 am Wednesday until the time of service at 11 am.

The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.

Ken was a loving husband and father and will be missed by all that knew him.
