Born Marie Evelyn Conway on the 24th of July in 1897, she soon changed the order of her name and became Evelyn Marie. Evelyn was born and raised in Chicago. Sometime between 1910 and 1920, she met and married Murray B. Catlin. (We're sure it was probably much closer to 1920, than 1910 as Evelyn would only have been 13 in 1910!)
